I am an experienced remote worker with skills in sales, marketing, and business development. I recently decided to transition my skills into a new endeavor and I am now a proud graduate from CareerFoundry, a six-month immersive web development education program. While enrolled, I built a Ruby on Rails app and a personal portfolio site from the ground up. I acquired skills in HTML5, CSS3, Ruby On Rails, and JavaScript among others.

I wanted to focus all my energy into a career path that is challening, exciting, and rewarding. Web development encompases all of this and more. When I am coding I seem to learn something new everyday. I love the feeling of creating something new and also solving complex problems while coding.
I started about a year and a half ago and I have been coding daily ever since.
I started with free online coding courses such as Code Academy and Khan Academy. I would recommend starting small, with free online courses and see if you enjoy it. If you really like what you are doing, look into more intesive online courses such as CareerFoundry, SKilcrush, and General Assembly to name a few.
